The legendary Göteborg right hand pitcher Kerry Fitzgerald will turn 59 just a week prior to opening day 2013. He agreed for a farewell season 2013.

He started the second game on opening day last year of 2012 vs Akademin giving up 2 runs (none earned) and 5 strike outs(!) for the three innings he pitched.

Even though Kerry doesn’t show up a lot at the plate, he recorded a home run in 2012. On the 2012-15-17 in the first game of the double header Kerry knocked one out of the park. He did a few appearances in the second game as well, but the Gefle pitchers took no chances and walked him twice.

Kerry decided to sign with Sölvesborg for the 2014 season.
